To Write Or Not To Write

To write or not to write is never a question for me. Writing is how I breathe in each new day. Between dream and reality, in the early dawn, I open the inner gateway to my writing universe—my second home. The characters in my books are like family in another dimension, the places are intimately familiar, and time becomes timeless, regardless of the era in which I find myself.

My writing routine is constant: 12,000 to 15,000 characters in 45 minutes. At the start of the year, I thought the book was finished, but then the characters knocked on that inner door, wanting to go on. 1.7 million characters later (yes, 1.7 million!), I can finally say I’m nearing the end of a new beginning! Now, it’s “only” a few chapters left!
